Black Hole Weaponry uses two basic diagrams for all of our bolt action barrels. Take note of the Stepped Taper Diagram, because it uses the terms "post chamber taper length" and "primary diameter" to define dimensions for us to be able to produce your barrel.

NOTE:
Customer is responsible for choosing the correct profile and type of barrel to fit his/her action. Bolt action barrels that we thread will come to fit the factory standard tenon length.
The following profiles do not have a shoulder that allows for a barrel nut: D3, D4, D5, Med. Palma, Heavy Palma, D6, D7 or D8.
The following profiles have a shoulder that allows for a barrel nut: M4 Heavy Varmint, S3 Varmint, S4 Bull, S1 Sporter, and S2 H-Sporter.

THE BLACK HOLE WEAPONRY BOLT ACTION BARREL NUT SYSTEM
We are offering a barrel nut system functionality like the Savage barrel nut for common bolt actions.
This includes a Savage and the Remington 700 at this time. Soon we will include Ruger 77, Winchester Mod 70, and there is more to come.
ALL Bolt action barrels come with a standard radius crown or eleven degree target crown.
Muzzle threads can be added to any bolt action barrel.
1/2 x 28 TPI for 25 CALIBER AND UNDER
5/8 x 24 TPI for 25 CALIBER AND ABOVE
25 CALIBER and above can also select 5/8 x 32 TPI
When ordering a Savage Barrel we recommend verifiying your shank diameter prior to ordering.
